Spring Planting Time

Planting the tomatoes outdoors, that I started in late February in my indoor propagation area, is one of the happiest days in the season. The plants have been carried outside every sunny day since April and are all hardened off and ready for planting. They look so healthy in their 1 gallon pots.

The rows are weeded and holes are dug and the plants are moved to their permanent location for the season. Sitting there, looking at the plants, they show such promise for a great season. For now, cold nights and summer heat waves are not thought about. All I see are tomato plants growing 4 to 6 feet and loaded with ripe fruit.

Here’s to a great season to come!
